TAPPING HOUSTON’S DAISY CHAIN

But what about the glitter beer?

CELEBRATE MARK’S BIRTHDAY FRIDAY

Join us on Friday when we’ll be enjoying beer and food specials to celebrate Mark McShaffry’s birthday.  And, because we are HOUSTON STRONG, we’re doing flights of Houston’s Daisy Chain beers.  We’re tapping as many as we can get on the wall, so get out here and try them before they are gone.

What Daisy’s do we have? Southern Star Brewing 8th Wonder Brewery Buffalo Bayou Brewing Copperhead Brewery Bearded Fox Brewery Eureka Heights Brewing Lone Pint Brewing 11 Below Brewing New Republic Brewing

SALES OF COORS LIGHT ON THE RISE

The FDA is reporting that cocaine has been found in Thousands of Coors Light beers nationwide. Suspicion of Coors Light being laced with drugs arose after thousands of people reported feeling “weird”, “high” and even sick after drinking Coors Light.

Sales of Coors light has increased by nearly 4.3% since this story came to light.  Additionally, this story is trending online from a satire news source, and is included here to remind you “DON’T BELIEVE EVERYTING YOU READ ONLINE”.  This is FAKE NEWS!

All of the beer at The Backyard Grill, including Coors Light, is cocaine free.

BEER WITH WHO AND YOU

You never know who is going to show up, or what beer you’ll get to try, but Mark, Chad, and other beer loving people gather all in the name of the greatest beverage ever discovered.  Tea?  NO!  BEER!

Join us 4-6PM in the bar.  And if you can’t make it at 4, show up at 5, or whenever. Fun Fact: The “long neck” bottle got it’s name from Lone Star Beer, and was solidified in etymology after Willy Nelson’s 2nd Outdoor Picnic.  Want the story?  Show up and I (Chad) will tell you.

GLITTER BEER – WHY?

NOT FAKE NEWS!  You are reading this correctly… Glitter Beer is the new thing.  Apparently brewers are easily distracted by shiny objects, so they are brewing up “Glitter Beer”- beer made with edible glitter.  It’s been popping up all over the country, and is making it’s Houston debut at Eureka Heights.  Here’s a video if you think the image above has been Photoshopped.

So what do you think?  Should The Backyard Grill’s next event be a German Sparkle Party?
